Read MoreThis is performed by stimulation with the K562 line +/- overnight incubation with IL-2 to activate the NK cells. Perforin expression should also be requested as per of FHLH investigation. If both are normal SAP and XIAP should be excluded in males. This test is only available by prior arrangement with the laboratory (Ext:25078) and discussion with a clinical immunologist (paediatric or adult). Samples should ideally be tested as fresh as possible. Keep at room temperature at all times. Samples should arrive in the laboratory no later than 13:00 to be processed on the same day.
