Refixia is pegylated Haemophilia B FIX prophylaxis for the treatment and prevention of bleeding episodes. Due to interference from the polyethylene glycol (PEG) in one-stage clotting assays with our standard aPTT reagent (SynthasIL), a modified one stage FIX must be performed using an alternative, non-silica based aPTT reagent (SynthAFax).
