Samples that are clotted or over 2 days old will not be processed. Test may not be possible on patients with low B cell numbers.

Read MoreThis test is usually done in conjunction with lymphocyte surface markers, in which case a separate sample is not required. The following markers are included: CD19, CD27 and IgD. Samples should ideally be tested as fresh as possible. Keep at room temperature at all times. Samples should arrive in the laboratory no later than 15:00 on a Friday. Samples arriving later than this will not be processed. Test may not be possible on patients with low B cell numbers.
